History
Americans for Autism Advocacy Foundation (AFAA-F) was founded in 2022 to educate business leaders, elected officials, and other stakeholders on policy solutions that improves the lives of neurodiverse Americans and their families. AFAA was accredited by the Internal Revenue Service with full recognition as a 501(c)3 charitable organization in 2022.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Americans for Autism Advocacy-Foundation (AFAA-F) is to educate the public and promote policy solutions that improve outcomes for individuals who are diagnosed with Autism and other neurological mental health conditions.
How Americans for Autism Advocacy Foundation Achieves its Mission
- Promote policy solutions that improve the economic, educational, and health care outcomes for the neurodiversity community in the United States.
- Educate Americans on the need for ethics reform that benefits all Americans.
- Train elected officials on crafting legislation that benefits the neurodiversity community.
- Hold emerging issues forums and other events with stakeholders and elected officials on policies affecting the neurodiversity community.
- Create communications that educate Americans on the need for policy solutions affecting the neurodiversity community.
