California Charity Helps Families of Neurodivergent Children during the Wildfires Crisis

California has been ravaged by one of the worst wildfire disasters in the history of the United States.  Many residents of the Golden State are beginning the task of rebuilding their lives after significant devastation. 

KTLA-TV in Los Angeles reported about the San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center who is aiding families with neurodivergent children who were displaced by the wildfires. San Gabriel Pomona operates as a distribution hub to families displaced by the Eaton fire providing essential supplies like clothing, health products, diapers, and blankets.  

Families of neurodivergent Californians displaced by the wildfires face additional challenges in rebuilding their lives after a disaster such as wildfires.  The San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center serves families with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities within the El Monte, Foothill, and Pomona regions of Los Angeles County.  

Although the San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center cannot take new physical goods donations as of this writing, the organization’s website indicates they are taking monetary donations to continue serving Californians affected by the wildfires.  Please email the SGPRC at [email protected] on details on how you can make a monetary donation.
